Barrels of Blessings
Let's continue filling our food barrel! Our donations go to the food pantry at Bethany Lutheran Church. Any donations of non-perishable foods are welcome, but specific items are suggested for each month.
December: tuna, peanut butter, jelly, oil, and vinegar.
January: toilet paper, paper towels, and facial tissues.
Remember, any type of non-perishable food is welcome throughout the year. It will make us just as happy to give these items as it will be for them to receive the help. Thank you!

Giving Tree for Karenni Children: bring gifts by Sunday, December 10th
Once again we are providing Christmas gifts to the Karenni children as an outreach project. The Giving Tree is in the entry hall along with a registration sheet containing the names of the children. If you wish to purchase a gift, please select an ornament from the tree and write your name on the registration sheet next to the name of the child you have selected. (A number has been assigned to each child designating family groups.) After selecting an ornament, which will contain the child's unique number, name, gender, and age, simply purchase a gift ($15 value), wrap and tag the gift with the ornament you selected from the tree, and place the gift under the tree in the entry hall by Sunday, December 10th.

Gifts for Karenni Youth
We are purchasing gifts for the older Karenni teens and young adults who are not on our Giving Tree. If you would like to help fund the purchase of one or more of these gifts, simply write your name next to the name of the youth(s) for whom you wish to purchase gifts, and place $15 for each youth in the basket on the table by the Giving Tree. Thank you for your generosity this Christmas season!

Christmas Caroling: December 13th at 5:15 p.m.
Come spread Christmas cheer as we sing carols at Meadowmere on Wednesday, December 13th, from 5:15 p.m. We'll meet in the main entry hall at Meadowmere, 10803 N. Port Washington Road.

"A Christmas Carol" at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater: Thursday, 12/14 at 7:30 p.m.
Would you like to go see "A Christmas Carol" on December 14th? We have two spots available, and the ticket cost is $40. Checks can be made out to Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church with "Christmas Carol" on the memo line. Please sign up in the narthex.

Board Games Wanted
We are collecting gently used board games to use with the Karenni families. Some will be helpful in teaching numbers, colors, math skills, etc., and some will be given to the families. Thank you very much!

Prayer Shawl Ministry
If you are a knitter, you are invited to become part of a Prayer Shawl Ministry for the benefit of those on our prayer list and for a mission project. You would be doing this on your own time and at your convenience. The pattern is very simple, and as shawls are completed, they are blessed by the pastor and then distributed. For more information, please contact Jo Fenske.
