At Beautiful Savior
To serve Christ and His Church, many opportunities exist for members to use their
talents and time in both voluntary and elected, one-time and recurring positions.
Whether it is teaching, organizing, singing, reading, greeting, financial or property management,
visiting shut-ins or prospective members, babysitting, ushering, crafts, artwork, writing, painting,
small repairs, or whatever else, there is something for everyone at Beautiful Savior.
Beautiful Savior Service Club
Children two years old through 8th grade and their families are encouraged to be part of the
Beautiful Savior Service Club. The goals of the club are to help create servant hearts in our
children at a young age and to contribute in a meaningful way to the church and local communities.
A monthly service project will take place from September through May. Please watch your email for
event details if you have a child within this age range.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
If you are a knitter, you are invited to become part of a Prayer Shawl Ministry for the benefit of those
on our prayer list and for a mission project. You would be doing this on your own time and at your
convenience. The pattern is very simple, and as shawls are completed, they are blessed by the
pastor and then distributed. For more information, please contact Jo Fenske.
In the community
In addition to participating in one-time community service events,
Beautiful Savior volunteers regularly serve meals at The Gathering,
an organization that provides approximately 100,000 meals to the hungry each year.
Our next serving dates are
Monday, September 11, leaving church at 3:30 p.m. and Saturdays, Oct. 28 and Nov. 25, leaving church at 9:45 a.m.
New volunteers are always welcome, and the sign-up sheet is in the entry hall.
High school students: remember to bring forms from school if you'd like to earn service hours.
