What to Expect

At each of Beautiful Savior's weekly services, we strive to deepen our relationship with God by confessing our sins and hearing God's pardon, learning from Bible passages, and praying together. We also hear sermons based in the Bible with applications to our lives, and we return our praise to God by singing hymns of worship. With these elements as the foundation for worship, each service is slightly different.

9:00 a.m. Sunday

The 9:00 service is our largest, with weekly attendance at approximately 130. Most Sundays we use one of the Divine Service settings from the Lutheran Service Book. The entire service is projected onto the front wall of the sanctuary in order to make it easier to follow. Many people choose to dress up for the service, but others do not; you are welcome to wear whatever clothing you prefer for worship. During the school year, the choir sings about twice a month, and the bell choir plays about once a month to enhance worship. Communion is celebrated the first, third, and fifth Sundays of the month. Following the service, everyone is welcome to enjoy some coffee, refreshments, and company in the fellowship hall.

5:00 p.m. Saturday

The Saturday evening service is quite similar to the Sunday morning service. The number of congregants is smaller (approximately 30 people), and worshippers use the Lutheran Service Book throughout the service. Communion is celebrated alternating weeks from Sundays, typically on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month.
